Dwarkadhis Temple

Day - 1:
Morning Arrival at Ahmedabad Railway station / Airport, transfer to hotel. After freshening-up, local sightseeing and Lunch: Gandhi Ashram, Akshardham in Gandhinagar,Sidi Sayyid Mosque, Hutheesing Temple, Adalaj Step Well, Handicraft & Handloom Bazaar (Law Garden). Dinner and overnight at Hotel.

Day - 2:
Early breakfast and depart for Gondal enroute visit Lothal and lunch at Rajkot. Half day local sightseeing at Gondal: Swaminarayan Temple, Umbada Veedi, visit to the famous beadwork, embroidery, spinning handlooms and the Museum. Dinner and overnight at Hotel - Gondal.

Day - 3:
After breakfast leave for world famous Gir National Park (45 kms) which is the only abode of the majestic Asiatic Lions. Enroute half day sightseeing of Junagadh city and then depart for Gir, the lion habitat covering 1412 sq.km, home to other forms of wild life like the leopard, wild boar, fox, wildcat, chinkara, nilgai and chowsinghai. Dinner/Stay at Hotel - Sasan Gir.

Day - 4:
Departure for Diu enroute visit Somnath Temple for followers of both Shiva and Vishnu. Such a temple had not been built since eight hundred years. Bhalaka Tirth in Prabhas Patan was a place where Shri Krishna gave up his physical frame. After Darshan and lunch leave for Diu, a former Portuguese colony, its beautiful and neat streets remind one of a Mediterranean town. Half day for beach recreational activities. Proceed a short distance to Ahmedpur Mandvi one of the finest beaches on the Gujarat coast. It is ideal for sea-side walks and provides great opportunities for swimmers. The beach resort should be the chosen destination of those who want to get away from the crowds. Dinner and overnight at Hotel - Diu.

Day - 5:
Diu beach can be used for water sports like skiing, surfing and speedboat trips. The Diu Fort offers a breath taking view of the sea. Enjoy the serene atmosphere and relax at pristine sea beach. Visit Tulsi Shyam (42 kms) a spot world famous for its hot springs and Krishna Mandir. Late evening leave for Porbandar and overnight stay at Hotel.

Day - 6:
Early breakfast and depart for Dwarka (315 kms) enroute Porbandar along the beautiful coastal highway. At Porbandar visit Mahatma Gandhi Memorial, Swami Vivekananda Memorial, Alfred School which has since been renamed Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi School are big draw for tourists. Proceed for Dwarka the capital of Lord Krishna's kingdom. It contains the Dwarkadish temple which is frequented by Hindus in large numbers. Dinner and overnight at Hotel - Dwarka.

Day - 7:
Early breakfast and depart for Darshan at Dwarka Temple. Visit Nageshwar Jyotir Linga Temple, Bet Dwarka-Lord Krishna's residence is an island. Bet was visited by Sudama. Marine archaeologists have excavated a huge wall which is supposed to be a part of Krishna's capital. Dwarka, which is one of the four principal dhams, was visited by both Narsinh Mehta and Mirabai. One of the Vallabhacharya baithaks is in Dwarka. Visit Sunset Point, Evening Aarti Darshan. Dinner and overnight at
Hotel - Dwarka.

Day - 8:
Early breakfast and depart for Rajkot (235 kms) enroute Jamnagar the most important princely states of Saurashtra. Because of its magnificent palaces, water bodies and town planning, Jamnagar was called the Paris of India. Lakhota Palace, built as a drought relief measure by Ranmalji, on an island in the centre of the bird rich Jamsarovar Lake. Bhirbhajan gate besides the Bala Hanuman temple where the continuous chanting of "Shri Rama, Jai Rama, Jai Jai Rama" has entered the Guinness book of world records since 46 years without an interruption! Other places worth visiting are Peter Scott Nature Park, Marine National Park. Dinner/Stay at Hotel - Rajkot.

Day - 9:
Early morning depart for Ahmedabad (225 kms). On arrival day free for shopping at Ahmedabad. Dinner/Stay at Hotel.

Day - 10:
At the end of the tour all the tourists will be dropped at Ahmedabad Railway station / Airport to catch respective Train / Flight.
